The widomaker

Foget it”

Live free or die hard

clean

Good movie, but actually the power make me to watch this movie is the leading role–Maggie Cheung, I like her film very much, and I think she absolutely is a real power faction actor.Clean stars Cheung as the drug-addicted wife of a once-good rock musician who, after a tragedy, must clean herself up and set her life back on track to regain custody of her son from his grandparents (played by Nick Nolte and Martha Henry). Don McKellar also makes an appearance early in the film as a business associate of Cheung’s husband. The movie moves between Hamilton (!), Vancouver, Paris, and London as Cheung struggles to redefine her life. Clean was a great movie, and it’s easy to see how Maggie Cheung picked up the best actress award at Cannes this year. And Assayas even made a dingy, industrial shoreline in Hamilton appear as a beautiful backdrop to one scene of Cheung taking drugs to escape the conflict in her life.

I think one word can describe this movie–”change”,as the movie name “clean”,in some way to say ,clean is change,if you want clean yourself, want your life back, you have to change yourself first, change from every little thing, then you can clean your Soul, and your life will on the way back.probably you will think all of this what I write is rubbish, but that’s ok, sometime you’ll get it.Last one more important thing: Stay away from drugs.

Anyway,I think it’s worth to watch this movie.

A LETTER FROM SILENT HILL

In my restless dreams,i see that town.

silent hill.

you promised you’d take me there again someday.

but you never did.

well i’m alone there now…

in our “special place”  waiting for you…

waiting for you to come to see me.

but you never do.

and so i wait, wrapped in my cocoon of pain and loneliness.

I know i’ve done a terrible thing to you. something you’ll never forgive me for.

I wish i could change that, but i can’t.

I feel so pathetic and ugly laying here, waiting for you…

Every day I stare up at the cracks in the ceiling and all I can think about is how unfair it all is…

The doctor came today.he told me i could go home for a short stay.

It’s not that i’m getting better.it’s just that this may be my last chance…

I think you know what i mean…

Even so, I’m glad to be coming home. I’ve missed you terribly.

But I’m afraid james.I’m afraid you don’t reallywant me to come home.

whenever you come see me,i can tell how hard it is on you…

I don’t know if you hate me or pity me…or maybe I just disgust you….

I’m sorry about that.

when i first learned that i was going to die, i just didn’t want to accept it.

I was so angry all the time and i struck out at everyone I loved most.

especially you, james.

that’s why i understand if you do hate me.

but i want you to know this, james.

i’ll always love you.

even though our life together had to end like this, i still wouldn’t trade it for the world. we had some wonderful years together.

well this letter has gone on too long so i’ll say goodbye.

i told the nurse to give this to you after i’m gone.

that means that as you read this,i’m already dead.

i can’t tell you to remember me,but i can’t bear for you to forget me.

these last few years since i became ill…i’m so sorry for what i did to you, did to us…

you’ve given me so much and i haven’t bee able to return a single thing.

that’s why i want you to live for yourself now. do what’s best for you, james.

james…

you made me happy.

about “john”

As you know, “john” is my english name ,so today I check the WIKIPEDIA and find out the story of “john”:

John (IPA: [dʒɒn] or [dʒɑn]) is a common English name for males.

Since the time of the Crusades, John has been a common given name in English speaking countries, and either it or William was the number one name in England and English speaking North America from around 1550 until the middle of the twentieth century. John was the most popular name given to boys in the United States until 1924, and though its use has fallen off gradually since then, John was still the 20th most common name for male infants on the Social Security Administration‘s list of names given in 2006.[1] It was also long the most common male name in the UK, but by 2004 it had fallen out of the top 50 names for newborn boys in England and Wales.[2] By contrast Jack, which was originally a nickname for John but is now established as a name in its own right, was the most popular name given to newborn boys in England and Wales every year from 1995 to 2005.[2][3]

In Great Britain, King John signed the Magna Carta in 1215; Prince Alexander John, the youngest son of King Edward VII, died shortly after birth, and Prince John, the youngest son of King George V, died in his sleep in 1919. As such, the name John has been considered unlucky by the British Royal Family and its use avoided. It was reported that Diana, Princess of Wales wished to name her elder son “John”, after her own father, but was prevented from doing so by royal tradition.

The name John derives from the Latin Johanne, simplified from Johannes, which derives from Greek Ἰωάννης, Iōannēs, in turn from Mishnaic Hebrew יוחנן Yôḥānān, Yohanan, during the Second Temple Period, after both John the Apostle and John the Baptist, with the original meaning being “God is gracious.”

Johanne has variants: Iohann, Ion, and Ivan where v is pronounced as ‘u’ – note, the letter J was derived from I, and V from U: compare the Spanish, Juan, and Russian Ivan and the Portuguese Juo and Ivo (now João).

John was first used in England with the arrival of the Normans in the 11th century and has been in regular use in the English speaking world since the 16th century. Prior to the adoption into English of the letter ‘J’, the letter ‘I’ was used. Seventeenth Century English texts still spelt the name Iohn (compare the Romanian Ion).
